These assault Rifle Case are the cases that put us on the map. With the exception of a few materials and hardware upgrades, these are the same cases that we began producing in the 1970’s under the name Assault Systems. Being the first company in the world to market nylon rifle cases, we set the standard for all types of nylon hunting and shooting products. In the late 1980’s we changed our name to Shooting Systems, but all of our assault gear still carries the original “Assault Systems” label. High quality materials, and superior workmanship is what keeps these the best selling cases on the market. These cases are constructed of padded Dupont Cordura nylon with full-length heavy-duty zippers and hardware. They have welded steel D rings and come with a 2″ shoulder strap. They have up to six external magazine pouches, plus an accessory pocket.

New York City Lawsuit Against America’s Firearm Industry Blocked
The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit has delivered a major blow to New York City mayor Michael Bloomberg’s lawsuit aimed at bankrupting the firearms industry, by ruling on April 30 that the Protection of Lawful Commerce in Arms Act (PLCAA) of 2005 blocks the city’s lawsuit against a host of gun makers and distributors.

Most hunts start and end at one of our 4 base camps, which are equipped with log structures and/or heated cabins. From there, hunters leave with a string of horses or are dropped at a remote lake via floatplane, depending on the animal and area being hunted. Most of the hunts are spot and stalk. Calling is also utilized during the moose rut. We conduct hunts which produce results. Hunter success includes hard work on everyone’s part. Our equipment is some of the best in the industry. Most of our hunts are challenging and rewarding, for those who want a fair chase hunt in some of the most scenic and wild country found anywhere in the world. All hunts start/end in the town of Smithers, BC (daily flights from Vancouver, BC to Smithers). The scenic floatplane (Turbine Otter, Beaver, Wilga or Cessna 185) flight to camp takes approximately 2 hours each way.

Bear hunting

Our original area is approximately 1,100 square miles in size. For the last 4 seasons, we have leased a portion of 2 bordering hunting concessions. These leased areas more than double the size of our original area, bringing the total size to over 1.6 million acres of exclusive hunting area. Hunting pressure is light. The entire area is very mountainous; there are numerous lakes and rivers throughout the territory, most with excellent fishing. The major watersheds are the Finlay, Thudaka, Kwadacha, Kechika, Jackstone and Frog Rivers. We are located in North Central BC, approximately 150-200 miles south of the Yukon border, and dead center, between the Cassiar and Alaska Highways. Stone Sheep, Mountain Goat, Mountain Caribou, Canada Moose, Rocky Mountain Elk, Grizzly, Black Bear & Wolf are hunted here.

Bullets

We started our company as BDX Mfg. as a small family operation in 1974. At that time, we did custom reloading. We ran that until 1985 when we sold the reloading portion and went into the bullet manufacturing specialty. We specialized in lead swaged bullets and worked on making a full line of small pistol lead bullets. Things changed and we started manufacturing copper jacketed bullets in 1991. We reorganized and renamed the business Montana Gold Bullet Incorporated. The jacketed Bullets have been very popular with past and new customers alike. The CMJ (complete metal jacket) is the newest item in the market from our line. We deal mostly on the wholesale level. We do not have a retail store. We do have pickup orders.
